To whom it may concern,
This letter is written to express my grateful thanks to Mr. Mike Tolley of Backyard Realty Group.
Having been re-assigned by my company to re-locate to Atlanta from South Africa some six weeks ago and knowing nothing of the culture or the people, we contacted Mr. Tolley, initially through surfing the Internet and finding his web site.
The site struck us as being the most professional and user friendly in the area and initially led us to select Backyard Realty Group as our potential Realtor.
Having initially made an offer on a house during a short "Look-see" visit six weeks ago, we were pleasantly surprised to receive confirmation of acceptance the very next morning. As you can imagine, still being in South Africa, this is where I thought the hard work was just beginning and even I thought I had bitten off more than I could chew.
Not so, Mr. Tolley stepped in and made the whole experience so bearable that, three days after our arrival in Atlanta, we closed on our "Dream House" and moved in.
Over and above the normal Realtor duties, Mr. Tolley set-up, aided, assisted and physically helped us with the following;
Mortgage: Mr. Tolley contacted the bank and explained our circumstances to them, with the result that I received a phone call in South Africa from the BOA offering me a mortgage. This subsequently was completed with the said bank and at a very competitive interest rate to boot.
House Insurance: Again, Mr. Tolley organized this totally from his side. Having bought my wife a car recently and needing to insure that also, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the Insurance Company we used for the house was also very competitive with car insurance and subsequently we insured the car with them also.
Lots of people do not realize the stress that is caused when coming to a strange country. Mr. Tolley picked us up at our hotel and took us on trips to the local schools in the area we wished to settle, in order to let our children choose where they wanted to go and ease their stress.
Water and Electricity connection were made easy; Garbage collection, Gas offices and even the Cable TV were all organized.
Several things were handled by Mr. Tolley requiring payments, all of which were made in my absence with my consent and settled upon my arrival in Atlanta.
In fact, when I finally received my work visa and phoned Mr. Tolley to advise him I was finally coming and ask what I had to do or to bring, he told me "Nothing, just bring yourself".
Thinking back on it we were perhaps very lucky that we picked Backyard Realty from the Internet. The care and attention they put on their web site is no more than an extension of the care, attention and service they provide to their customers.
Service like this is not usual and I can thoroughly recommend Backyard Realty Group as a Realtor "Par Excellence" and would be happy to confirm the contents of this letter to any interested party.

We had 3 different realtors, over a period of time, try to sell our home and there was always an excuse, you need to do this, you need to do that and then there was no traffic!! You walked in raised the price by $20,000 got the traffic coming and Bingo we had an offer! We can't thank you enough.
Everyone was extremely professional and nice. No high pressure, just sincere warmth and caring for the seller, which is unusual in realtors!
Hopefully we won't need you again soon, but we will tell all our friends!
